PRIME has been part of PhotoLab since its first release in 2017, and continues to be. I compared it against 3 other NR programs. I think that you ignore the improvements in DOP 10, which Made PRIME much faster and more useable compared to its first introduction. I couldn't use DEEPPRIME, as it only became available a year ago. I used PRIME, regularly and with good results. PRIME was the precursor of DEEPPRIME, both NR tools in Raw Editors, OpticsPro and PureLab respectively, and PureRaw became the break away stand alone tool. It ccosts about 60% as much as PhotoLab 4 Elite, but offers about 20% of the functionality. It's a batch converter, not a full editor like PhotoLab. This tool has proved so popular that DxO recently produced a heavily cut down subset of PhotoLab 4 Elite called PureRAW which includes just the optical corrections and DeepPRIME NR, but no user controls. Both tools remain available in PhotoLab, but DeepPRIME is so much better that I never use PRIME any more. This was superseded by DeepPRIME in PhotoLab 4 Elite last year. PRIME was DxO's first advanced NR tool, introduced in DxO Optics Pro 9 in 2013. Yes, it is that good, but like the reviewer states: no user controls (but simple workflow). I have been using PRIME in DxOlabs OpticsPro (now PureLab), which I think was a precursor to PureRAW: I am especially curious if anyone has compared this workflow with just directly handling the Sony ARW files in LR or PShp. I am posting to ask if people here use DxO PureRAW to convert the Sony ARW files and what their experience has been. However, I bet that there are people here with far more experience with this process. The noise reductions seems decent, it certainly corrects the distortion issues with my Sigman 17-28mm Wide Angle lens and the images seem a bit sharper. From just a few hours of exploration DxO PureRAW sure does seem like it is doing something good.

I have been looking into using DxO PureRAW for converting Sony ARW files to DNGs. On my last two threads that I started I learned a lot of useful information.
